Outside Beirut

Districts with at least 40 apartments for rent:

DistrictMedian rent a month2-bedroom apartment3-bedroom apartment
Beirut$2,000$1,630$2,200
Baabda$1,700$800$1,800
Metn$1,000$800$1,000

Keserouan$800$600$800
Batroun$800$800$1,000
Jbeil$600$600$700

Baabda's median is high because its rentals are mostly large: about three quarters have three bedrooms or more. A two-bedroom there asks about $800, as in the Metn.

What you pay on top of the rent

The asking rent is rarely the whole monthly cost. Budget for the building fees, the generator subscription and water, and expect a deposit and sometimes an agent's fee when you sign. Renting an apartment in Lebanon goes through each one and what to check before signing. Leases signed before 1992 follow different rules, explained in Lebanon's rent law.

How we measured

  • Asking rents of apartments for rent on Day3ti on 9 November 2026. Rents quoted per year are divided by 12. Daily rentals aren't included.
  • A home advertised more than once is counted once.
  • Apartments of 30 to 1,000 m², asking $100 to $30,000 a month, to remove typing errors and placeholder prices.
  • The median is the middle rent: half the apartments ask more, half ask less.
  • "Too few listings" means fewer than 20 apartments with that number of bedrooms.
